Applications are now open for market stalls at this year’s Harvest Revel, taking place October 26th through November 1st on Bramberwick Common and the surrounding streets. The main Revel begins October 30th.
Food sellers, makers, growers, and other local traders may collect an application from Founders’ Hall. Applications should be return by October 16th, with stall assignments to follow after review.
Please include:
- A description of your goods and any demonstrations.
- Your preferred trading dates, including whether you intend to remain open after dusk.
- Your space requirements and any need for electricity or water.
- Any arrangements necessary for the safety and comfort of neighboring traders and visitors.
Sellers of enchanted goods should identify effects that may extend beyond their allotted space. This includes changes in temperature, unsolicited speech, persistent scents, and any influence on a customer’s ability to leave without purchasing something.
Food traders must provide clear ingredient information. “An old family recipe” is welcome as a selling point but insufficient as an allergen statement.
Live goods must remain within their stalls. Sellers are responsible for retrieving anything that escapes, propagates, or persuades another trader to release it.
Returning vendors may request their usual positions, but previous occupancy does not guarantee assignment. Please do not move the markers on the Common, reserve a space through enchantment, or send someone who intends to stand there continuously until opening day.
Requests for quieter locations, step-free access, shade, or distance from particular materials should be included with the application. Organizers would much rather accommodate these needs now than discover them during an argument between two fully stocked stalls.
Questions may be directed to the festival desk at Founders’ Hall during its usual opening hours.
A final reminder: permission to sell an object does not constitute permission to awaken it.
